Dr. Jason Lacroix

Chiropractor

D.C, FRCs, FR, Acupuncture

Dr. Lacroix graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.  Prior to CMCC, he attended the Brock University Neuroscience program and the Laurentien University Biomedical program while playing junior hockey at the same time.  Dr. Lacroix grew up in Hearst where he spent most of his childhood playing hockey.  Later on in life he found other interest such as cycling, running and weightlifting.  His personal experiences with sports and dealing with injuries is what brought him to chiropractic.  Dr. Lacroix has a special interest in sports, however, his main goal is to help anyone suffering from pain to become more aware of what causes their pain, how they can manage it and give them the tools to succeed.  For those reasons, he took courses outside of his school education in order to have more tools to help him achieve those goals with his patients.  Some of those courses includes Functional Range Conditioning  (FRC), Functional Range Release (FR), Smart tools, Athletic Movement Assessment seminars and Contemporary Medical Acupuncture.  During his internship, Dr. Lacroix has treated different type of injuries like athletic injuries, chronic pain, arthritic symptoms, work related (overuse) injuries, and patients looking to augment their performances just to name a few.  Dr. Lacroix is happy to be back in the region and is looking forward to learn how he can help you live a better life.

Dr. Lydia Colacino

Dr. Lydia Colacino graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) with a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. Prior to CMCC, she graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Kinesiology. She grew up as a competitive dancer in Toronto, and had her injuries treated by chiropractors for years, which made her want to become one! As a student, Dr. Colacino worked as a kinesiologist for a number of clinics in Toronto, has experience implementing patient-specific rehab exercises, and was the recipient of the Professor Vladimir Janda Scholarship clinical rehabilitation award at CMCC. In 2017, she also received her Medical Acupuncture diploma from McMaster University. She had the opportunity to travel to Dallas, Texas to present her clinical research at the Association of Chiropractic Colleges Research Agenda Conference (ACC-RAC). Along with all athletes and the elderly populations, Dr. Colacino also loves to treat pregnant moms-to-be as they facilitate their child's first home. She has a special interest in treating the paediatric population as well, and is trained in the assessment and treatment of infant and paediatric complaints including latch issues, and tongue and lip-tie. She continues to stay updated in new techniques so that she can provide all of her patients with the highest level of current, evidence based treatment. Dr. Colacino has experience treating a wide range of injuries and ailments, from head to toe, and she is excited to bring her expertise to Northern Ontario!
